Relaxing!

It has been HOT here at my Virginia foster home this month but, even when it is warm, I like to relax in one of these soft dog beds.  I was taking a nap this afternoon when my foster mom began snapping pictures of me and that woke me up!  

And I am doing just fine except my BDRA foster brother, Travis, left this morning, on his way to his forever home.  I miss him, and am just wondering when someone might want me....  I hope it is soon!

One thing that is great about my foster home is that I am getting to know some new dogs!  Here is my newest friend, Travis, who is also a BDRA foster dog.  He just arrived last Saturday from Tennessee.  When he first got here, I wasn't sure I was going to like having another dog in the house (there were already 5 other dogs besides me) but it turns out that I do!  In fact, Travis and I have become good buddies this week.  He is a very nice dog!  Almost as nice as I am!  :)   And we are both handsome, each in our own way.  We usually go outside together.  We like to sniff around and walk all over the yard and see what we can find.  Sometimes I lead the way and sometimes he goes first and sometimes we walk side by side. He is leaving next weekend, on his way to his forever home.  I am happy for him but I will miss him too.  And I can't wait until I find my forever home too!  Won't you think about adopting me?  

Hey! It sure is hot!

Hey!  It is hot here in my Virginia foster home.  This photo was taken just a few minutes ago out in the yard.  I love to go out to walk around but it sure is hot!  And my handsome thick black coat does not keep me very cool!

I had a little bit of sad news this week.  The person who was going to adopt me is no longer able to have me.  The good news is that gives YOU the chance to put in an adoption application for me!    And I really like my foster home, so I don't mind hanging out here for a while longer as I wait for the just right home for me.

And I am doing great!  I had my second dental and my teeth are now in very good shape!  I have recovered from my neutering too. I am healthy and ready for my new home.
